Tintamarre

Tintamarre is a parade where you make the most noise possible to let the world know that you are here. The Acadians started this tradition in New-Brunswick to let the province know that francophones where still living there despite the deportation of 1755. The Fransaskois of Saskatchewan does tintamarre since a few years now to manifest their presence in the province. Today some Palliser French immersion classrooms had their own tintamarre around the school.
