Aurores Boréales dans un bol

As a craft we did an aurora borealis in a bowl. First we mixed white glue and water. Then we placed drops of neon food coloring. Finally we dabbed the drops with dish soap. The dish soap caused the food coloring to travel through the glue by breaking down fat molecules. Once dried, we peeled the glue off the plate and admired the effect.
