Today we celebrated St-Patrick Day by learning about Irish culture.
First of all, we read the book "La chasse aux trèfles" by Eve Bunting and Joëlle Dreidemy. Lucien the rabbit plants clover seeds. He finds a pot, places soil and waters his seeds. The goal is to have a beautiful garland made of real clovers for the St-Patrick parade.
We made our own garlands with paper clovers, as well as small Irish flags, and we paraded in other French Immersion classrooms of our hallway to wish "Joyeuse St-Patrick" to our friends at Palliser Heights.
