Cercle du Coyote

Today we had our first Cercle du Coyote. The goal is to discuss in a calm setting the challenges that came up during the last 6 days. We discuss and find solutions together. We sit on individual mats in a circle with a lamp that displays calm colors. We also enjoy the visit of a kind coyote. Students hold him when it is their turn to speak. One by one, we read the topics of discussion that students placed in the box during the last 6 days. The main issue we solved today was around the use of the reading corner. The students created their own set of rules. Volunteer students prepared a poster that is now displayed on the bookcase.
